Questions

Questions people ask

Still unsure? Call 1300 212 035. There are no silly questions.

Goaldis Community Services is a registered NDIS provider: check the NDIS Commission register. This page is general information from Goaldis, checked against official NDIS sources. Current as at October 2026.

Where do you provide transport support?

In Greater Western Sydney (Parramatta to the foothills of the Blue Mountains), Ryde and Macquarie Park (Gladesville to North Ryde), and The Hills (Norwest, Cherrybrook, Kellyville). Live somewhere else in Sydney? Call 1300 212 035 and ask us.

Can my NDIS plan pay for transport?

It can, if your plan includes it. Recurring transport funding sits in its own recurring supports budget. It can pay for travel to and from study or work, community activities, day programs and social or leisure activities. NDIS funding can only be used flexibly within the same support budget, not across budgets, so check your plan or ask us. Sources: guide to support budgets, recurring supports.

Can you help me learn to use public transport?

Yes. We help you use public transport and build the confidence and skills to travel safely and on your own.

Will a support worker come with me?

Yes, if that is what you need. A support worker can travel with you to appointments, shops and outings.

Can transport be part of community activities?

Yes. Getting there is often part of joining in. Read about community participation.
